GARMENT CARE

All our pieces are made of 100% french linen, which is a living plant fiber, which mean it will slightly stretch and contract as you use and wash it.

Pure linen fabric is naturally breathable, moisture wicking, anti-bacterial, and hypoallergenic. Unlike other fabrics, linen does not develop unpleasant odors over time and keeping the fabric fresh so clothing pieces can be worn as many times as you feel before being washed. It has thermoregulating properties, meaning it adapts to the surrounding temperature. It feels cool in hot weather and provides warmth in cooler temperatures, making it comfortable to wear year-round.

Linen Jersey Fabric Care

To conserve the linen fiber strong durability and comfort, we recommend only washing cold or hand washing and hang or lay flat to dry.

Washing by hand for the Crochet Pieces

Our crochet pieces, although naturally resistant to wear and tear thanks to their 100% linen yarn, must be hand wash by color and using cold or room temperature water with a gentle soap. We use and recommend the classic savon de Marseille. Dry the product in a flat position, and out of sunlight. Some slight reshaping may be needed to get the crochet pieces back to the original dimensions.

General Drying

We do not recommend using a dryer. If you choose to risk doing so, use a delicate or fluff low temperature setting, and only leave the product in the dryer for a very short period of time an preferably once dry to remove slight wrinkles.

Storing & Preservation

We design for long term use. Please, make sure your item(s) are completely dry before storing them away. Being of French origins, we always recommend the use of dried lavender sachets or cedar to keep things smelling good fresh and preventing moth. Although these creatures seem less attracted to linen than other natural fibers (it does not contain keratin), it i always good to be preventative.
